Selected candidate will support via a combination of remote (50%) and onsite (50%) at either Ft Meade, Md or the GDIT secure facility in Chantilly, Va. Please note that no travel costs will be provided.How A 0365 Tenant Automation Engineer Will Make An Impact:• Follow software development best practices to facilitate collaboration, feature enhancement, issue tracking, testing, development, and production deployment.• Implement automation of tenant management and other tasks using Power Platform, PowerShell, APIs, etc.• Utilize parameter driven, declarative syntax models, when possible, to afford flexibility and simplicity to subscribing organizations.• Implement Policy as Code (PaC) using platforms like Ansible, Terraform, M365DSC, etc.• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, supporting release validation efforts.• Provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.• Designs architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support present technical specifications, while ensuring relevance, functionality, and adaptability for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.• Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for DoD architectures.• Determines and identifies high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture.• Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.• Develops software design documents and technology white papers. Instrumental in selection of development tools.• Develops high level system design diagrams, testing, and documentation.• Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.What You’ll Need To Succeed (Required):• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years related technical experience required. An additional 4 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.• Active Secret security clearance required.• DoD 8570 IAT II (Security + or equivalent) certification required. • Experience in Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 support environments.• PowerShell scripting – specifically with Graph and Azure function apps.• Experience with an automation framework.• Power Platform/Power BI experience. What You’ll Need To Succeed (Desired):• Automation of tenant configurations using Microsoft 365 related API endpoints.• Online collaboration on configuration changes using a distributed revision control system (i.e. Git).• Experience with the Microsoft 365 Management Interfaces.• Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development.The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
