The patient populations in our community that we serve are before and after a variety of cardiac procedures (cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement/upgrade, AICD placement, ablations, and Watchman procedures), congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. Cardiac Care nurses are specially trained to interpret EKGs, vital signs, and maintain antiarrhythmic drips to provide immediate cardiac interventions and medical care.
