Responsibilities: Advising efforts in modeling and analyzing military systems and larger system-of-systems architectures to support critical customer investment planning.Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to define system capabilities, functions, and performance requirements, applying DoDAF and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).Identify and address gaps or vulnerabilities, providing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs across IT and business operations.Maintain system and software design in an MBSE tool.Provide SysML review support.Create/maintain common model profile templates.Assist with the transition to MBSE by creating creating and implementing a transition plan.Provide subject matter expertise and systems engineering to maintain system design alignment. Requirements: United States Citizenship5+ years of experience in System Engineering and/or Enterprise Architecture with a focus on Cameo and Model-Based Systems Engineering.Experience with Model-Based Product Line Engineering (MBPLE) within CAMEOCertified as IAT Level II.Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.Must have experience with CAMEO and TEAMWORK Cloud.Experience with aspects of systems engineering such as modeling and simulation, functional analysis, and requirements derivation and traceability.Professional and effective interpersonal skills and the ability to provide face-to-face customer support. Preferred Skills & Experience: Understands relational data/databases.Ability to quickly learn new applications and tools.Has a fundamental understanding of basic programming and html.Visually oriented with the ability to transform data to visual information.Has an understanding of Navy Cybersecurity requirements and processes. Education: Bachelor in technical field preferred but not required. Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 (USD).
