Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire required.Additional Preferences Neuro Intensive Care Unit - 12 bed unitAs the designated Tertiary care center for Ascension Wisconsin South region our patient population consists of both medical and surgical neurological patients which includes Stroke, craniotomies, embolizations and TPA patients. We have high acuity patients that may require various devices such as External Ventricular Drains, ICP monitors, CRRT and Targeted Temperature Management.
