In accordance with company policies, procedures, and sound business practices, manage the day-to-day tactical post payroll activities and supervise a team of three payroll ops specialists How you will do it: Accomplishes post payroll objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and counseling employeesEnsures that tasks are completed by team members timely and accurately, validates check lists, controls and audits are being performedMeets payroll post operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system/process improvementsReview system audit reports and identifies and resolves discrepancies, oversees the post payroll operations reconciliations that are being performed and works to close out reconciling itemsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societiesAccomplishes organization/ NA payroll goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentOverall management of off-cycle and on-cycle payroll runsComplete other duties as assignedWhat we look for:Bachelor’s degree 5 years relevant experience Proven ability to work independently with good analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and/or statutes related to payroll(U.S. Canada, Puerto Rico)Excellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenExcellent customer service skillsAbility to analyze, solve problems and improve processesAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to prioritize work and multi-task successfullyStrong computer skills including Microsoft ExcelHigh attention to detailPreferred: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting CPP or FCP certification Experience managing a payroll teamThis is a hybrid position and will require working on site 3 days per week at our Glendale, WI office.#LI-Hybrid
