PRN $30/hrThe Licensed Practical Nurse II is responsible for providing direct patient care to inpatients; observing patient behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment; reporting findings to registered nurse; and carrying out the patient's plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse. QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTSLicense or Certification:- Current LPN/LVN licensure appropriate to state regulations- CPR (BLS) certification required. If mandated by state regulations, ACLS required.Minimum Qualifications:- One or more years of experience as a licensed LPN/LVN required.Machines, Equipment Used:- General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc.- Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.Physical Requirements:- Visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity.- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds including medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.Skills and Abilities:- Oral communication, written communication, active listening.
