The custodial position removes solid waste from Snowshoe Village and business units on a daily basis, monitors Snowshoe compactors, and operates Snowshoe's recycle program for all recyclable material and hazardous waste.Job Responsibilities:Inspect and maintain Snowshoe compactors, reporting issues promptly.Ensure compactors are operational, clean, and emptied as needed.Keep compactor areas and village trash cans clean and organized.Manage trash and recycling collection, including special recyclables.Coordinate with Pocahontas Recycle and handle special waste needs.Report equipment defects, maintain cleanliness, and complete reports.Arrive on time, wear appropriate attire, and participate in training.Contribute to team efforts and achieve results as directed.Driving:Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving ProgramPreferred Experience:Ability to move a pull trailer attached to a pick upAbility to operate a standard shift truckKnowledge of Snowshoe Mountain and location of departments is helpfulAll Information above is subject to change at any time.
