Includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Work schedule: 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday/ Tuesday to Friday) from 3:15 pm to 1:45 am. Location: Bridgeville, PA. Requirements: HS Diploma / GED and/or 3-5 years relevant machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.Experience in self-programming or editing programs.Skilled with precision measuring tools, like calipers and micrometers.Ability to work the night shift.Uses clear and effective verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actions.Works with guidance to plan, organize, and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectives.Applies elementary concepts to manage and apply safe systems of work.
