Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Responsibilities:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Supervisor is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring their effective implementation. Key responsibilities include supervising and training staff, monitoring client progress through data evaluations, adjusting protocols as needed, and providing caregiver training. The BCBA also maintains communication with stakeholders, ensures high-quality care, supports staff development, and upholds regulatory compliance while contributing to operational excellence.

  • Assist in client intake and onboarding, including communicating with prospective families to address any questions.

  • Conduct various behavior and skill-based assessments as part of the initial assessment and reassessment process.

  • Interpret assessment results and develop comprehensive ABA treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.

  • Conduct regular client observations and provide ongoing support, training, and supervision to Behavior Technicians in implementing ABA principles and behavior reduction strategies.

  • Monitor and supervise client progress through data-based evaluations, ensuring treatment plans are successful.

  • Make timely modifications to treatment protocols based on client progress data, caregiver feedback, and team collaboration to optimize outcomes.

  • Provide caregiver training sessions to equip parents, guardians, school/daycare staff, and other service providers with the knowledge and tools to support treatment goals effectively at home, in school/daycare, and in the community.

  • Maintain communication with all stakeholders, including families, schools/daycares, service providers, doctors, and community agencies, providing consultation and recommendations for behavior interventions, including referrals when necessary.

  • Develop and oversee a range of behavioral support services to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other behavioral or social/communication challenges.

  • Review and approve reports prior to submission.

  • Administer direct treatment to clients when necessary.

  • Provide oversight to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care and operational excellence across all areas of programming.

  • Establish and monitor treatment standards, including audit forms, quality checklists, and documentation, recommending improvements where needed.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research in evidence-based practices to ensure treatment methodologies reflect current findings.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources on disciplinary actions and ensure health and safety standards are maintained across treatment settings.

  • Serve as a clinical representative within the management team, both internally and in public settings.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the company’s clinical infrastructure and ensuring regulation compliance.

  • Participate in interviews for staff and assist with hiring for other roles as needed.

  • Help design, implement, and maintain new hire training, onboarding, and ongoing staff development programs.

  • Manage clinical operations within time, financial, and resource constraints.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Qualifications:

  • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in good standing with the Pennsylvania Department of State.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), if applicable.

  • Proven experience in ABA treatment planning, supervision, and clinical leadership.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and external stakeholders.

  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and operational excellence.
