The unit also accepts maternal transfers from outside hospitals, of urgency such as pre-eclampsia, preterm labor, patients with intrauterine fetal demise or second trimester termination for maternal complications or fetal anomalies, reproductive endocrinology for IVF procedures, periumbilical blood sampling procedures, Fetal Stents, pre-operative patients, surgical cases, D&C’s emergent, Post Partum Tubal Ligations. Postpartum patients with complications.
