We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team, and help expand our pediatric pelvic floor program. Be a part of our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality, outpatient rehabilitation for our pediatric patients. In this position, you will work in the outpatient department treating clients of all genders with Pelvic Health issues including pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain and incontinence, as well as developmental, orthopedic and neurological conditions as needed. Primary location will be at our Waltham, with initial training at the Boston location. This position will include regular Saturday coverage after completion of orientation period.This Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist will be responsible for:Completing comprehensive physical therapy assessment in alignment with department standards and guidelines for pediatric patients.Performing pelvic floor muscle assessment and treatment for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Job SummaryThe Waltham based Per Diem Physical Therapist will be responsible for the following:Performing complex diagnostic evaluations upon referral and by departmental and professionalReviewing patient medical history/record and selects, administers, and interprets standardized and non-standardized tests and measurements to assess patients’ functional status related to cardiopulmonary, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological, and sensorimotor function.Integrating knowledge into clinical decisions and recommendationsDeveloping and implementing individualized patient treatment programs.Establishing treatment goals and administers appropriate physical therapy procedures and modalitiesDischarge plans and home treatment programs, and providing education to patients and familiesRecommending orthotics, adaptive/assistive equipment, and technology for patients with complex, rare, or multiple dysfunctions.Liaison with equipment designers and vendors regarding equipment specifications and patient needs.Training patients, families, and caretakers in the use/operation of prescribed orthotics/equipment, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, and initiating modifications as needed.Recording assessments, diagnoses, and treatment inpatient medical records according to established documentation standards.Preparing reports, correspondence, referrals, and other materials for schools, providers, payers, and others as needed.Assigning standardized billing codes and corresponding charges required for reimbursement.To qualify, you must have:Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and at least one to two years of previous experience.Active state of MA PT licenseThis position is based in Waltham, with Saturday coverage needs
