Job Description:The Acute Care Pharmacist is responsible for performing all duties associated with interpretation, order verification, dispensing and monitoring of medications ordered by prescribers; the evaluation and dissemination of comprehensive information about medications and their use, to patients, families, and medical staff; and providing quality pharmaceutical care to make a healthy difference in people’s lives.
