Overview: The Oncology Pharmacist Coordinator oversees medication approval, dispensing, and counseling of patients undergoing cancer treatment services. This role is responsible for supervising the Oncology Pharmacy team, as well as performing drug compounding. This role serves as a liaison, supporting pharmacy staff, technicians and hospital staff as needed for caring for patients receiving cancer treatment. Responsibilities: Conducts rounds with healthcare team and provides pharmaceutical care to patients to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.Reviews medication profiles for appropriate drug selection, dose, route and frequency.Identifying and resolves actual drug-related problems and develops plan to prevent potential drug-related problems.Supervises all distributive aspects of pharmaceutical care provided to patients.Improves systems and processes to ensure safe, accurate and timely provision of all aspects of pharmaceutical care.Guides pharmacists through educational programs to increase knowledge of appropriate pharmacotherapy use and patient monitoring.Coordinates the daily activities of the pharmacy. Overview: Come join our Annie Penn Rehab team to experience a variety of patient care, all in one place. We have 8 PT’s and 2 PTA’s, as well was OT’s and SLP’s that treat across the lifespan. We are located in the heart of Reidsville in a convenient location and less than a 30-minute drive from Greensboro. Our therapists qualify for “rural” pay – an additional $2.50/hour.We treat patients one-on-one for 45-minute sessions.This is a salaried position with competitive benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 403B, free Employee Assistance program, paid parental leave, paid education days, and more.
