This is a remote position that requires up to 70% regional travel. We are only hiring in the following states at this time: ND, SD, MA, VT, and ID.
Leidos QTC Health Services and our affiliated medical professional corporations (“PCs”), including Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, collaborate closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain. In coordination with the PCs, we specialize in disability-focused medical examinations, independent medical exams and review services, occupational health services, diagnostic testing, and case management solutions. In your Role at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Groupof Alaskayou will:
Provide assistance to attending clinical provider including: assisting patients, taking medical histories, injections of medications and immunizations, etc.Accurately receive and carry out clinical staff/provider orders.Perform standard diagnostic procedures including but not limited to: EKGs, venipuncture, and preparation and or running of lab specimens for laboratory courier, PFTs, arterial flow Doppler studies, and other clinical diagnostic studies assignedPerform housekeeping functions such as: changing exam room table paper, upkeep of cleanliness of the entire officeChaperone during examinations as required or requestedBe responsible for front office duties such as: answering telephones, preparing schedules and confirming appointments, data entry, filing and inventoryVerify information through dialogue with clinical provider on all orders/instructions given.Assist in the reconciliation and identification of medications for upload and possible refill in the EMR applicationWork with providers and operational teams to ensure reports are submitted timely and accurately, may assist in preparation and delivery of reportsBe responsible for administrative duties on-site including completion of expense reports in a timely manner following company policy
Work Schedule:
Typically M-F, between 9am-5pm (can fluctuate depending on Event), with travel on Sunday (to destination) and Friday (leaving destination).A minimum of 70% regional travel, potentially some national travel if needed2 weeks of comprehensive onboarding and training. 1 week online, and 1 week on-site out of our Nashville corporate office for hands on clinical training.Travel expenses are paid for by the company.
You must have:
A High School Diploma, or equivalent GED. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.Graduation from a state approved and accredited licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse diploma or certificate from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) required.A minimum of 3+ years of hands on clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care or ER.Current use and proficiency of/in Manual Vitals, EKGs, Blood Draws, and Venipuncture.A clean and clear LPN/LVN license.Must possess a valid, current, unemcumbered LPN/LVN license to practice as a nurse by the state Board of NursingBLS for Healthcare Provider with the American Heart Association certification required for hire.A Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) to operate across the U.S. (prior to hire).A valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations.Residency in ND, SD, MA, VT, or ID, and reside within 50 miles (or less) of a major US airport.The ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
*Employment as a Travel LPN LVN will include successful completion of a 90-day probationary period during which you will be given objectives to achieve. This timeframe lets you assess your readiness for the position as well as allows Leidos Health QTC Services to determine your ability to successfully perform the job. You will be provided objectives, documentation, training and performance feedback during the 90-day probationary period as part of your assimilation to the role. After successfully completing the 90-day probationary period, you will be considered a permanent employee.
Pay Range:
Level III = $31.00 - $34.00/hour (3-5 years of exp.)
Level IV = $39.00 - $43.00/hour (5+ years of exp.)
Including eligibility for a quarterly bonus - UP TO 6%
This role may fall under the Service Contract Act (SCA), a federal law which provides for a U.S. Department of Labor-prescribed minimum prevailing rate of pay and certain benefit levels.
