#DT2Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and WindowsPerformance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailersPerform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelinesPhysically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
To become part of the NFI team you:
Must have a valid driver's licensePreferred ability to obtain a Class B licenseTechnical or advanced degree or 2 or more years of equivalent maintenance experienceFamiliarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and WindowsSuccessfully demonstrated problem-solving skillsExamples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.On-site evaluation with recommended training
