Overview: Store Security SpecialistDublin, OH or Savannah, GAThe Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands is currently seeking a Store Security Specialist. The Store Security Specialist is responsible for playing a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our retail store operations. You will partner closely with the Store Security Manager to help evaluate and enhance security measures. Responsibilities: Oversee and handle specific administrative tasks regarding the organization’s overall security program.Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with management and operations teams.Ensure the security of all CCF employees by collaborating with Security Manager and vendors to maintain physical security equipment and monitoring daily activity for internal and customer fraud.Detect and investigate occurrences of company policies and procedure violations up to and including unlawful acts.Ensure security procedures are followed by reviewing reports, documentation and using all available tools to investigate fully.Work collaboratively to initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to foster security awareness within the organization.Communicate with field personnel, management, and various departments to investigate incidents. Provide information and receive instructions.Assess the effectiveness of systems, alarms, and other physical security measures.Make sound, high-quality decisions on tactical security issues, judging urgency, response, and the need for further evaluation.Maintain physical security equipment (Camera Systems, Alarm Systems, etc.).. Process work orders for security equipment faults, work with multiple vendors and systems, troubleshooting, service and update equipment as needed.Assist with providing any information as requested by the legal department for law enforcement agencies (FBI, Police), management, and engage in incident response, information gathering, and reporting.Ensure all legal, company and security procedures are followed by using camera surveillance. This includes watching and/or downloading recorded videos. Saving video to storage devices.Ability to travel occasionally with overnight stays.Respond to various physical security incidents, including unauthorized access, security alarms, and potential breaches, as well as bank robberies.Complete special projects related to physical security, loss prevention, asset protection, auditing and other miscellaneous tasks that fall under security and loss prevention scope of work.Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance during normal business hours, at a minimum, 40 hours per week.Ability to meet the physical demands for this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard. Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalent Certificate). Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or Business Admin is preferred or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.Experience working with computers, effective communication, and customer service skills.2-4 years of experience in retail financial services security is highly desirable.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style while maintaining deadlines.Strong analytical skills for examining processes and formulating policies.Strong customer service skills to be able to communicate effectively with field level employees, management, vendors as needed.Proficiency in assessing physical security measures for effectiveness.Ability to propose solutions on tactical security issues.Ability to manage camera systems and alarm programs.Ability to respond to physical security incidents in a timely manner.
