In this role, you will:Monitor patient status, tracking vital signs, appetite, hydration, and overall comfort throughout their stay.Administer treatments and medications according to veterinary orders, including fluid therapy, oral/IV meds, and wound care.Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as blood draws and basic in-house lab work, under the guidance of veterinarians or senior technicians.Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment, restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is ready for immediate use.Keep thorough medical records, documenting all treatments, observations, and patient progress accurately and promptly.Collaborate with specialists, doctors, and fellow technicians, relaying important patient information and coordinating care plans.Engage in continuing education and case discussions, staying informed about the latest techniques in in-patient care and veterinary medicine.We don’t just get through the workday; we embrace the challenges and triumphs that come with providing advanced critical care.
