Primary job function is working on various types of railcars, barges and above ground storage tanks. Tasks include cleaning and washing railcars using high pressure equipment, product removal, performing minor maintenance repairs and/or parts replacement. San Jacinto College Central Pasadena Campus is hiring an Energy Management Systems Manager for daily monitoring of Building Automation Systems, and to coordinate response to comfort concerns, provide analysis and administration of all assigned Energy Management projects and functions.
Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor the general operation of the Building Automation Systems to ensure proper operability and minimum energy consumption levels. Respond to occupant  comfort  concerns  while  ensuring compliance with campus climate guidelines. Review all monthly utility billing for accuracy. Identify, investigate, and report on all anomalies in water, gas, and electricity consumption. Provide monthly and quarterly reports on energy metrics at the individual and building level with weather normalized comparison per square foot. Manage ENERGY STAR and other Energy Benchmarking portfolios as assigned. Assist the conduct or coordinate facility site visits, retro-commissioning efforts, and ASHRAE audits (Level I & II). The HVAC Journeyman is expected to maintain and repair HVAC equipment in the district. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and extend equipment life. Also, perform HVAC installation, repair and maintenance as needed. Perform preventive maintenance work as required and in the priority directed. Support and adhere to the College Safety Program. Maintain quality standards as set by the District. Check and test control circuits; check and test pneumatic control systems; diagnose HVAC problems and remove, repair and replace faulty parts.
