This position is responsible for identifying and documenting physical conditions and features of channels and other District facilities for the Geographic Information Services (GIS) Department in accordance with the District’s mission to maintain the Infrastructure.

Responsible for implementing the construction phase of the District’s Capital Improvement and Maintenance projects, including administration of professional service contracts for material testing and construction consultants.
Essential Functions and Duties: Ensure quality assurance/quality control of the documentation provided with contractor’s pay estimates. Assist in review and evaluation of contractor’s cross-sections and measured quantities. Investigate and evaluate slope failures and earthen repairs in the field.
