The Drafter will be responsible for coordinating onsite work with the sales support team, engineering team, designers, purchasing/requisitions and special project team personnel, as well as working alongside production management staff. The Quality Control Shop Floor Inspector will be responsible for inspecting welding quality and performing dimensional inspections on ASME code pressure vessels, ensuring all products meet strict industry and company standards. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, and have a thorough understanding of ASME code and welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded and fabricated components, ensuring compliance with ASME code standards. Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, and misalignment, ensuring all welds meet quality specifications. Conduct dimensional checks of equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications and blueprints. Record and report inspection results accurately, identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions when needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASME code requirements, welding techniques, and industry best practices. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality control processes and procedures.
