Duties and Responsibilities of the Instructor for Medical Lab Tech include:
Teaching: Keep up with developments in the field of study. Demonstrate high standards-academic and professional. Evaluate student work constructively and provide timely feedback. Provide access to students through posted conference hours, electronic communications, and other appropriate methods and responds to inquiries in a timely manner. Professional Development: Maintains high standards of competence in the discipline(s) and teaching methodologies through professional development activities. Reviews, evaluates, reflects, and revises program curricula and teaching methods through a self-evaluation process of self-reflection. The primary function of the role is to support the College Director of Maintenance and other leadership to ensure effective and smooth operations, directing work orders of the Maintenance Department to the proper trade, reviewing and directing work requests, directing work requisitions in a timely manner, assuring that compiled requests are documented and closed in the computerized Maintenance System, assisting with inventory, life safety systems and package delivery.
Duties include but are not limited to: Assure that you have complete knowledge of appropriate procedures and take measures to assure a safe outcome for all tasks undertaken. Act as gatekeeper for incoming work requests delivered by email, telephone or through the computerized maintenance management system (TMA), assessing work requests for appropriate craft assignment and timing requirements for scheduling and routing, generating purchase requisitions for craft maintenance staff and leadership as necessary to maintain facilities and complete projects. Processing data into enterprise management system (Banner) verifying back up, using packing slips and picking tickets for all purchase orders verifying correct location to deliver packages. Assist the Facilities Support Services Manager in performing life safety systems inspections (fire extinguishers, fire door integrity, door hardware and closers), documentation of inspections and scheduling of service/periodic inspections. Request delivery of fuels (diesel & gasoline), receive deliveries of fuels, measure and record quantities for entry into the Fuel Master computerized fuel management system. Manage monthly variance reporting. Support college in disaster planning, preparation and recovery. Receiving and helping with inventory management of parts and materials in the warehouse (periodic inventory of stock, issuance of parts, physical arrangement and movement of parts in warehouse). Coordinating preventive maintenance for elevators, assuring compliance with authorities having jurisdiction and management of operating and inspection documentation.  Notifying the proper elevator service when emergencies occur, aiding the company when necessary, and guaranteeing that all service phones are performing properly. Receive, log and deliver packages to appropriate departments and/or persons at the College. Unload freight from delivery trucks with pallet jack and/or fork lift. Manage monthly reporting of CMMS survey results.

Pol-Tex International is currently seeking a Non-CDL Yard Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Our fleet, facility, and equipment combined with our experienced and dedicated professional staff make Pol-Tex International the premier gathering and recycling center for the Gulf Coast Region.
Yard Drivers at Pol-Tex are responsible for relocating, docking, and transporting 48’ and 53’ trailers within our manufacturing facility. They must be able to keep up with a fast paced production environment while accurately recording information to ensure on-time shipment of goods. This position also uses propane, sit-down forklifts to help load and unload trailers. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.

Primary job function is working on various types of railcars, barges and above ground storage tanks. Tasks include cleaning and washing railcars using high pressure equipment, product removal, performing minor maintenance repairs and/or parts replacement. Must be willing to follow customer, company, FRA, and AAR guidelines. We are a national mobile service company. Traveling locally and nationally will be required at times, and may spend nights in a hotel.
Experience not required; However, the ideal candidate will have experience in the industrial cleaning industry or experience in the Rail/ Barge and above ground storage tanks. Minimum 5-day work week subject to required overtime, on-call, and alternate shifts that may include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
