The Quality Control Shop Floor Inspector will be responsible for inspecting welding quality and performing dimensional inspections on ASME code pressure vessels, ensuring all products meet strict industry and company standards. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, and have a thorough understanding of ASME code and welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded and fabricated components, ensuring compliance with ASME code standards. Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, and misalignment, ensuring all welds meet quality specifications. Conduct dimensional checks of equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications and blueprints. Record and report inspection results accurately, identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions when needed. Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASME code requirements, welding techniques, and industry best practices. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality control processes and procedures.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical certifications preferred. Background in welding or fitting. The duties of an aircraft refueler will consist of servicing aircraft and other equipment with aviation and automotive fuels with the use of tanker trucks, hydrant carts or tow carts. Aircraft refuelers are required to position the fueling equipment next to the aircraft and service it with fuel following all Airline and Company policy and safety regulations at all times. Other duties related to the job are completing required paperwork such fuel service records, tanker sheets, truck sheets and meter tickets and the sumping of overnight aircraft as well as performing normal shop housekeeping duties.

Primary job function is working on various types of railcars, barges and above ground storage tanks.
