As an Assisted Living Resident Care Associate, you will support seniors who require 24-hour oversight due to functional, physical, or social impairments. Your role involves assisting residents with daily activities they cannot perform alone, while always promoting their independence and freedom of choice. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with our assisted living philosophy.
Overnight Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Job Duties:
ADLs: Assist residents with mobility, transfers, hygiene, dressing, and use of mobility devices.
Instrumental ADLs: Help with phone calls, housekeeping, laundry, mail delivery, and internal transportation to support autonomy.
Medication Assistance: Support self-administered medication, monitor supplies, and document as needed.
Observation & Reporting: Track residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional health, reporting changes to nurses or supervisors.
Safety Checks: Conduct rounds, room checks, and monitor for hazards, documenting incidents as needed.
Emergency Response: Act swiftly in line with emergency protocols.
Resident Concerns: Address resident or family complaints and concerns to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred: CPR, AED and First Aid certifications
Experience with seniors is a plus.
Demonstrate respect for residents’ heritage, values, and insights, with an understanding of the aging process.
Work well with peers, using tactful communication in sensitive situations.
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing) and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Strong customer service skills, self-motivated, able to work independently, address facility needs, and engage effectively with residents, families, staff and guests.
